At June 6 extraordinary sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security the draft law on Making Amendment and Addenda to the RA Law on Police authored by the RA Government was debated in the second reading and endorsed. According to the Deputy Head of the RA Police Hovhannes Kocharyan, after being passed in the first reading the draft law has not been amended because of lack of proposals.
The MP Armen Khachatryan considered urgent the adoption of the bill. It is designed to debate it at the RA NA extraordinary sitting to be convened on June 7.
